About work:
In this series, I wanted to show the mythological narrative by using the corana virus, which is our reality now and will continue to be told in the future, and the pandemic with it.
The dragon, tree of life, sun and cave motifs I used in the work titled Behind the Door No.1 are the motifs found in Turkish Mythology. The importance of the door here implies the presence of a shelter that provides protection from dangers in the outside world. It also implies that there is something behind the door. The sequel to this work, Behind the Door No.2, shows behind the door. It emphasizes the pandemic that we have fallen into as the whole world and the sense of isolation and loneliness that comes with it.
