Canan Harmancı Demirel

She was born in Istanbul in 1962. After graduating from Mimar Sinan University Graphic Design Department in 1983, she worked as a graphic designer in the textile sector until 2000. In 2007, she started receiving miniature training from Taner Alakuş at the Classical Arts Education Center and ISMEK affiliated with the National Palaces Education Department. She had mixed and solo exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Canan Demirel, who has an open perspective to innovations, creates works that she adapts to the present day by adding classical miniature techniques to her graphic design knowledge.
